Monette M. Cotreau, Ph.D.
Founder and President
Monette M. Cotreau, Ph.D., is Founder and President of MMC BIOPARTNERS. For over 25 years Monette has led teams in large pharmaceutical (Wyeth) and small and mid-sized biotechs (Genetics Institute, Aveo Oncology, Alnylam, ImmunoGen), in addition to working with many companies of various sizes within her consulting practice. In addition to her experience leading large, cross-functional teams, her team leadership within the industry has covered functional disciplines of Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Development, Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), Translational Medicine, Toxicology and Bioanalytics. Her experience spans across therapeutic modalities including small molecules, antibodies, siRNA and antibody drug conjugates (ADC), and various therapeutic areas such as oncology, rare diseases, women’s health and inflammatory diseases, among others. She has deep experience preparing filings for and interacting with Health Authorities such as the FDA and EMA and has contributed to the development and approval of various marketed products.
Monette received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, from Tufts University School of Medicine, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in the laboratory of Dr. David J. Greenblatt. She completed her B.S. in Biology at Suffolk University. Monette also trained as an Executive Coach at the College of Executive Coaching. She is an adjunct professor at Tufts University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Boston and served on the Editorial Board of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology’s, Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, for over 17 years.
Monette’s office is based in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire, a short commute from Boston.
